Mock The Week - 2007 & 2008 Page 19

Lord Strap-On! Laughing out loud

"How long will Richard Hammond have to wear nappies?"

Long live Frankie Boyle!!

"Describe Uranus, without telling your parents"

Frankie was on his best, most disgusting, form tonight.

Liked the kitten one best. Only he could make a joke about f**king a kitten quite sweet.

He said "rapey," though not quite in the same context. Still, it made me think of you guys.

Did he really?
I didn't hear that!

Frankie's been more consistently disturbing in previous episodes, but I think he possibly raised the bar tonight. Didn't feel quite right though; perhaps his unease at his own material? Did anyone else notice that the channel continuity announcer made a specific point of saying that Frankie was going into dodgy territory tonight...?

Really enjoyed the stuff about The Mary Whitehouse Experience and My Hero.

Wish they'd just cut Mitchell altogether though.

It was the name of one of his dwarfs!

Yep, I instantly thought of us lot too. :)

Ah it must have been when I left the room to obtain chocolates.

You're kidding right?! That stuff about Cameron was just right, the well placed hammer blow of comedy anger. It's the closest the show gets to satire, even if it is relatively simple.

Ah, you need yourself a PVR so you can pause the TV in such cases!

No. The Cameron stuff has been done before, much funnier and been funny. And his faux-anger delivery was painful.

I used to really like Mock The Week but Frankie ruins it for me. He tries too hard and most of the time is painfully unfunny.

Wow and I thought I was the only one who didn't like Frankie.

Though I admit were obviously in the minority on that.
