That's an inpressive line-up, but £500 for a one day event... seems more geared towards indy production companies than writers.

I was really up for going to this event but £500? No way.

Get clicking on those ads at the top boys. Mark and I are hoping to attend in 2009.

I just clicked on the Tesco one, ten times...is that what you meant?

'Tis a start! :D

If you buy stuff from it, it's even better.

So if we all spend ten minutes a day clicking on that link will you get rich?

Not quiiiiite how it works. But the more clicky-clicky-buy-y-buy-y the better. Makes us money which keeps the site alive. We don't make a profit. So the Comedy Forum is a real long shot.

I noticed today that the Comedy forum is being linked to from 4Talent news articles, which is cool.

We could all club together and buy a delagate pack to share. It includes slides and recordings of the day.

Have you approached them for sponsorship Aaron? Also why not apply for a press pass??

:)

Ah, I've only just spotted this thread...

Firstly, thanks for clicking on the adverts - but, to be honest its not worth your effort... unless you're planning on buying anything, in which case please do!

Secondly, as great as the Comedy Forum line-up is, let's face it, there's no way its worth £500 for the day. You'd be much better off just sitting at home and waiting for websites like Media Guardian, Broadcast and Chortle to put up their reports.

The press still have to pay the £500 too!

Although, as Aaron says, I am hoping the website can be at next year's Forum covering things from in the thick-of-it - I've got a plan up my sleeve to allow us to be there (it involves priest costumes, a coffin and a fire alarm ;)

Note to self stop reading producers talking about how to get into TV.

Creates more self doubt and self loathing than reading pornography in a playground.

Again: who's for group suicide?
