British Comedy Guide

Comedy Lab: School of Comedy

I was going to start this thread tomorrow, but this will be the 1000th thread in Writers Discussion, so I wanted to nab an extra bit of glory.

So nothing to see here until tomorrow night, when I'll discuss the sketches wot I wrote and what got changed etc in a Writery Discussiony kind of way.

Are you going to tell us your actual name so we can look for it on the credits and say "Ooh, I sort of know him?"

Cool. Look forward to it. Hope it's as good as it was in your head ;)

Dan

It's just like I dreamed it!!

I'm not sure which is more impressive. Yes I do, we're going to have to wait a long time for the 2,000th thread.

I have already got this set to record on my digibox. I'm bound to forget and miss it.

Yeah.

I will.

Yes, but before it's on, Seefacts.

Or Duke.

I heard their 'spin' was a that it was entirely written by Toms...

Surely there won't be more than one Tom in the writers credits?

I might be wrong, but the writing team was mostly women.

It's going to be crap then.. ;)

This is the show with that child with the old man face, right?

and I don't mean Different Strokes.

I'm guessing it's either Tom Seefacts or Tom Beard.

Congrats on the imminent ...er, exposure! I'll set my Sky+ when I get home.

Or Peter 'Tom' Sutcliffe.

Or Peter 'Tom' Sutcliffe.

Let it go! Laughing out loud

Why is Seefacts the Yorkshire Ripper? Obviously I'm not surprised to hear this but what is the provenance of this fascinating piece of intelligence?
