Sound effects?

I have just finished writng a stage play.

2 man, Bottom meets Mighty Boosh.

There are a lot of audio gags.

Does anyone know anywhere to get decent sound effects?

Please let me know!

I used effects from www.soundsnap.com for a show I was involved with recently.

You were involved in a show? Well do tell!

BAM!

Moving thread.

There's not much to tell, it was a one-off sketch show which was more of a learning experience than anything else. Move along, there's nothing to see here.

How ominous. Did you edit a sketch together yourself then?

Moving Thread... huurrrggghhh!!!!! Nope wouldn't budge, it'll have to stay where it is.

It was a fringe comedy show, not a broadcast one. I supplied a lot of the music and sound effects.

I see. I will now let the matter lie.

Since your role as interlocutor on Meet The Writers I feel hypnotically compelled to answer your questions and it takes a massive mental effort to reassert my independence.

It has always been my intention to enslave the minds of the many. Like a slightly less evil Derren Brown.

interlocutor

What a strange word. Never heard that one before.
Sounds a bit painful!

interlocutor
n.
1) Someone who takes part in a conversation, often formally or officially.
2) The performer in a minstrel show who is placed midway between the end men and engages in banter with them.

Is Dave hijacking threads for guerrilla episodes of 'Meet the Writers'? Have to say I thought Griff's would be more interesting.

I wasn't the one who brought it up.

Even more impressive...
