What are you watching on TV? Page 264

First series in 1995. How old were you then, zooozie?

Well, I was still at school.

Flipping heck. Can't believe it's that old.
I was gutted when he pegged it. :(

Was it? Oh, I was about 18 then. I think zooo was 23, and she's been stuck on it ever since Whistling nnocently

Father Ted must be so old now!
I'm just remembering the first time I saw certain episodes, and I was a kid!!

Series 1 was 1995! :)

I just picked up Planet Earth on Blu-Ray and I'm watching the first disc with my daughter. I'm glad the U.S. version uses the David Attenborough narration instead of Sigourney Weaver's narration from The Discovery Channel's showing.

Not only can I not believe that Aaron has seen hardly any Father Ted, but I cannot believe that we're actually having a discussion about a sitcom.

Haha!

Is it cos I'm a sitcom geek that you're surprised I've not seen any?

Yes, but primary school or secondary school? I do have a reason for asking. I let my daughter, who's 10, watch it for the first time and she was helpless with laughter, mostly at Dougal, who she thinks looks like me. Cheers, Bandagette.

zooo has the gift of eternal youth. And she doesn't even need beauty sleep to keep that way!

Oh no, I was older than 10.
I'm not surprised she found Dougal funny though!

Pretty much.

Well I was only 8 at the time, and it was on advert-riddled terrestrial TV.
