It was alright I guess.
Now on the Elvis one.

I liked it!
Have you seen the nazi one yet? That has one of the most classic moments of comedy in it ever!
Have you seen the one yet with the 'these cows are small, those cows are far away'?
That's a good bit.

No.

I know that scene, so I assume I've caught it on more4 or something like that.
Episodes 2 and 3 are the best ones in series one, I reckon. (Three's the one where they have to protest against the dirty film The Passion Of Saint Tibulus).

Which episode's that? Was it Chris the sheep?

Series 2, episode 1, Hell. And that line wasn't in the shooting script. It was a last-minute add.
I can't believe Aaron hasn't seen every episode of Father Ted.
And ian_w's Nazi episode is the first in series 3.

Not just "not every", but hardly any!
It's like that scene in Blackadder with him trying to teach Baldrick to count beans.
Not like as in copied, but like as in just as classic.

Pretty much every pure Blackadder/Baldrick scene is classic though!
Very true.
Not only can I not believe that Aaron has seen hardly any Father Ted, but I cannot believe that we're actually having a discussion about a sitcom.
Father Ted must be so old now!
I'm just remembering the first time I saw certain episodes, and I was a kid!!
Like the close shot of Dougal in the bath, which pans out to show Mrs Doyle scrubbing him. Ace.

Ha ha! Or when he got his head stuck in the sofa!
I think I was about 16/17 when I first saw it but I don't know how long it'd been on.
