I'm interested on seeing an intelligent dialogue on the Israli/Palenstinian conflict tonight. Should I see 'Don't mess with the Zohan'?

New Pegg film. Doesn't look too good. How To Lose Friends And Alienate People.

Doesn't look terrible, just an average Hollywood comedy.

Yes!

:) Very funny, if you're a Sandler fan.

Don't agree. I'm not a Sandler fan and found it funny as hell (and I'm the kind of person who finds hell hilarious.)

I was hinting (maybe too subtly) to the fact that I am, and that I found it funny. I'm sure other people will enjoy it, like your good self, but I can't speak for them. :)

I saw Tropic Thunder last week, I don't know if it's out yet in the UK but maaaaaan it was freaking funny. My favorite parts were not what I thought they would be or who I thought they would come from.....Tom Cruise. Pure gold, stay for the credits and watch his dance. Pure gold.

Thanks for the heads up. I always try to stay, you never know what you're gonna miss these days. I mean, loads of people walked out of Iron Man before the end when I watched it. *shakes head*

You'd think some people had been electrocuted the way they leap up to leave as soon as the credits start to roll. It really pees me off when I'm trying to watch the credits and people are squeezing past and tripping over you to get out. Angry

It's sneak preview tonight and I'm hoping for Wanted in OV. Last week's sneak preview was The Dark Knight in OV, which was brilliant (not only because the film was excellent but also because we got to see it two days early, for one Euro less and in the original language version).

Sorry, what's OV? It's probably really obvious. Wanted. Good action, not much else imo.

Original version. Not dubbed.

We have an English cinema, too. But it's a bit farther away and doesn't show that many movies. So I try to catch all the OV Sneak Previews in the nearest cinema.

The action sequences in the Wanted trailer are beautifully shot. That's why I want to see it. And James McAvoy.

I went to see the new X Files film the other weekend.

It wasn't that great. The main thing that annoyed me is that you have no idea what is going on. You really know nothing apart from some women are getting kidnapped and an old man is dying. Then in the last two minutes of the film, Mulder and Scully reveal everything.

They've shown Wanted. I loved it. And James McAvoy.

He is lovely. Have you seen State of Play? It's the first thing I ever saw him in; it's an excellent political thriller and a veritable feast of lovely male actors. :)

Who else is in it?

I've not really liked any of McAvoy's films, so he's sort of passed me by so far. He did wear a leather jacket with nothing underneath in Wanted though...
