What you want, is some real glasses. :)

I do have tinted ones I have to wear to read sometimes. Does that count?

No!

But they are special ones for my dyslexia! Teary

Dyslexia glasses? *raises an eyebrow*

They just have tinted lenses. Sometimes I have trouble reading and the tint helps to stop the words from "jumping around".

Hmmm. I think we need to hold a Speccy Society meeting here, and decide if you should be admitted or not.

Laughing out loud You made me spit out my coke!

I think geekdom is great! Geeks appear to have way more fun that normal people!

That DEFINITELY counts!

Dyslexia glasses? Didn't even know they existed! Excellent.

Yes, yes we do. :)

My last place of work paid for them. Easier to have than overlays but are much more expensive. The optician basically tries you out with various tints to meet the one that's right for your needs. I find it easier to read with a peach tint which is the most common. Some people use yellow or pink or blue. Everyone is different.

Neither did I. Sounds weird! Your clarification is appreciated, however, and so Ruby shall be admitted.

*still a little suspicious though*

What's an overlay?

(I have yellow lensed glasses! They're fun.)

Do they make everything more cheerful?

What's an overlay?

It's a tinted plastic sheet you can put over what you are reading to help you read.

I pulled last night.

(small voice) sorry everybody
