But one could still argue that they're cleverer because they apply themselves in school because they care about it more.

I've actually sent the Times a complaint about their section structure. It's utterly stupid. For example: Life & Style --> Women --> Fashion, whereas Driving is on the same level as Life & Style and Jeremy Clarkson has his own subcategory on the same level as Women. That's simply not logical.
