British Comedy Guide

I am a geek and I am not ashamed!

Over the last week or so I've come to notice quite how many geeks, nimrods, turbo nerds, or specky twats as they are known in the UK inhabit this forum.

Well I am a geek and I am not ashamed!

But am I the biggest geek here?

I propose a contest for who is the biggest nerd on this forum.

The prize,

Mean while, I have read SFX, Deathray and Bizarre from issue 1 to today.

I've watched the full run of 6 major scifi series.

Watched the whole of the Starwars and Star Trek movies back to back in one sitting.

I bought a copy of Dragon issue 1 for a lowish 3 figure sum.

And there's more but come on?

Who is king doofus? Any challengers?

I have a Legend Of Zelda poster on my wall. That's probably about as geeky as it gets for me though. So you still win sootyj. *slow hand claps* :P

Depends on your definition of geek. And you've used it interchangably with 'nerd'. Tut tut! Fail!

I'm pretty geeky for someone so cool. But it's normally just due to the fact I moderate a comedy forum. That's about as geeky as I get... unless I put my specs on.

I have an Italian poster for Vertigo, it's pretty cool.

Nerd is more, y'know, kinda maths-y.

Well, you've all seen my lifesize Doctor.

zooo is the top lady geek. Even if she's not fully trained with computers just yet.

Princess of the Geeks? Queen of the Geeks? What's your preferred title, m'lady?

Hmmm a geek was originally a guy who bit the heads off live chickens at carnivals.

Damn you Defra denying me my favourite job.

I read ALL of sootyj's posts in critique, every single one. I'm not quite sure what this condition is called, or whether it makes me a geek or a nerd? It does however IMO entitle me to at least challenge for the 'King Doofus' award. :P Errr Teary

I'd quite like to be a princess, please.

I'm the resident cool geek, it was in my signature.

Hold fire for
Most bizarre stalker,
most time on their hands,
or most persistent pursuer of rubbish nob gags about famous people threads.
