What are you eating? Page 33

Cobblers.

I used to like on Letterman on (I think) Thanksgiving, he used to satellite link up with his mum's house and she'd bake loads of different pies.

I can't get Letterman any more. :(

That's one of them Yank night time shows, right?

I've never heard of a cobbler over here.

Just hear it on American stuff.

My daughter had to make one in her cookery class - blimey - about 20 years ago! I'd never heard of them before - but I do love scones (pronounced scowns).

I imagine Letterman's show is available (somewhat illegally) from most of your favorite download sites.

He's probably too scared to deliver to your house.

Yeah! like Leno but better.

Aren't they all the same? Sarky interviews and a little music act? Like Jonathan Ross, but even more skin-crawling?

Nah, Letterman's actually quite sarky and funny, in my opinion.
And I secretly kind of want him as my uncle/grandad.

I find the others all a bit bland and samey.

Have you got many uncle/grandads? Is that like Wilson is to Pike in Dad's Army?

Ha. Just random men who seem to know my mum really well.

Hang on!...

Laughing out loud!

:O

Tonight ... grapes, oranges, apple, biscuits, scones..

Haven't had a nosh though.
