Oh god, I'm so with you there.
*Maybe* it was amusing the very first time. Maybe. But not the 3000th f**king time. People still wet themselves though...

Quote: zooo @ August 13 2008, 12:03 PM BSTOh yes, Chandler is you in that episode, Aaron!
Never cries at films/TV. Cold hard soul. Etc.
Way hey!
Which season/episode is that?
Quote: zooo @ August 13 2008, 1:01 PM BSTYes it is.
I never thought I'd meet someone not clever enough to enjoy the jokes on Friends...
He has no interest in comedy. I don't know why he's even here. He quite plainly wants to be involved in the music industry.

"The One Where Chandler Can't Cry".
... as I said - the mid-period Friends are the best.
Joey: Monica got stung by a jellyfish.
Monica: All right! I got stung. Stung bad. I couldn't stand. I... I couldn't walk.
Chandler: We were two miles from the house. Scared and alone. We didn't think we could make it.
Monica: I was in too much pain.
Joey: And I was tired from digging the huge hole!
Chandler: And then Joey remembered something.
Joey: I'd seen this thing on The Discovery Channel...
Ross: Wait a minute! I saw that! On The Discovery Channel, yeah! About jellyfish and how if you... Ewwww!! You peed on yourself?
Phoebe and Rachel: Ewwww!
Monica: You can't say that! You don't know! I mean I thought I was gonna pass out from the pain! Anyway I...I tried, but I...I couldn't... bend that way. So...
Phoebe, Ross, and Rachel:Ewwww!
Joey: That's right, I stepped up! She's my friend and she needed help! If I had too, I'd pee on any one of you!
Absolutely classic moment.

I like GOOD comedy. Like Father Ted, IT Crowd, Likely Lads, etc.
Music? Mmmm. Maybe - but I thionk it's a bit late for that.
Yes. Great scene.
And obviously works better on screen than on the page before anyone comes along and says it sounds rubbish.
OK, I'll stop copying/pasting, before it gets out of hand.
I could really have done without every single scene featuring that bloody English Emily though.
She really was absolute SHIT.

Bugger. That's a whole £40 away.
Emily was OK, in my book. Hope you won't claim she had a fake accent
She did stood in the way of true happiness, and therefore had to be hated. Especially later.
But the wedding did produce a rather unexpected turning point in the show, basically a new lease for life.

do we have to teach you, how to find an episode you really need?
I didn't hate her becasue of her standing in the way of Rachel and Ross's happiness, that would have caused mild dislike.
She has the most annoying accent ever in all of mankind's history. I don't care if it's her natural one or a slightly exaggerated version of it for American audiences.
Every word she said grated me to the bone. I DESPISE HER.

Talking of fake accents I always thought the English girl in Frasier sounded very strange. Yes - I know she is English but she did accentuate the pronunciation somewhat.
She just has a normal, posh-ish English accent in real life, she was putting on the Northern one.

Things have to be watched in order.

That's why it sounded wierd
