Russia's declared war Page 6

I'm a bit of a cold war/nuclear war buff.

My father gave me a nifty Army-issued Geiger counter from the fifties. I'm thinking about modifying it into a computer enclosure and sticking the guts of a Mac Mini inside.

The way things are going right now, you might be better sticking with the Geiger. Errr

I'm not ready to duck and cover yet, but I think Russia has maybe 3 more days of tough talk from the White House before the president decides to make a move. Something small and relatively harmless, but with a clear message. Maybe some supply flights to Georgia or the repositioning of a carrier group, etc.

It'll be intresting to see US response, because they can't be to heavy handed and lose to much more International support but then can't look weak either...Its facinating.

fascinating*

Come on Gavin, you're no better than sootyj at times!

But I'm sexier.

Now that hurts!

Have I become the paragon of bad spelling in BSG?

Yes. And grammar. :P

This presidential administration will be gone in 5 months. They can do pretty much anything they want without worrying about the consequences. Huh?

And the difference would be...?

Well they couldn't nuke Moscow and leave it to Barrack to clean up.

Or could they?

And Aaron I'm hurt you ignored my lousy punctuation.

They could, but they won't. But who knows what might happen between the election on November 4th and the new president's inauguration on January 20th - especially if the Republicans lose the White House.

And the difference would be...?

Laughing out loud

Or could they?

They could. But they couldn't leave it to McCain.

Perhaps Bush could challenge the Ruskies to a tiddlywinks tournament - d'you think he could win though?

...or maybe he SHOULD just nuke 'em?

Oh sorry, I see it's already been suggested!

Good stuff! :)

This whole Georgia mess should be cleaned up long before the election, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the U.S. and/or Israel paying the Iranian nuclear facilities a visit at the end of the year - especially if McCain loses.
