Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job!

Didn't notice any threads about this...
I've been torreting the new season. Fantastic stuff so far, it looks like it's going to be some of their darkest material yet (The Child Clown sketch from episode two was sheer, evil-minded genius).

For those who haven't been initiated into the cult; it's a ten-minute, live-action sketch show that plays late at night on the US Cartoon Network (it was also on Bravo for a bit over here).

It's also very youtube friendly: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=IAxsdDpkFN8 http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1g_UHV42jOA http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=s01MH6P-ezs

I recommend the full episodes though, it's best to full the sketches in the midst of a full-on assault. I beloieve the first season's on DVD now, it's on my to-buy list.

I'm a fan of the show. I started a thread about it, months ago.

Did it get as big a response as this one?

It's excellent as is Tom talks to the Mayor.

I want to eat at Gullivers.

I don't think it's funny. I also don't think Tom talks ot the Mayor is funny though so I guess these shows are geared towards a specific comedy audience.

The episode of Awsome Show, in which they sacked their office staff, and replaced them with old men, was one of the funniest.

Many flatmates over the years have viewed my love of Adult Swim as my most distrubing feature.

Soul of the Mole Men is terrible though.

The theme tune is good though.

Don't get me wrong I love Adult Swim stuff. Venture Bros is one of my favorite shows. I just don't like these mix media perhaps.

The theme tune is good though.

It is infectious.

Damn you, you've just made me look it up so I can sing along.

I'm wondering why they hired Trey Parker to sing the theme tune as opposed to someone who was known primarily for singing. To fool people into thinking they were going to watching something made by Trey Parker.
Silly.

Anyway, yeah, not a great show. Looks fantastic, but you can see better stuff any time on Channel 101.

The last two episodes of Tim & Eric and Venture Brothers I just caught up on, however, were genius. Bob Odenkirk was a rascal! Patrick Warburton was Patrick Warburton!

Tom Goes to The Mayor's one of my favourite shows, by the way. I think it was blindingly innovative; ground-breaking, even. I own a Pipe Camp T-shirt, it makes me feel closer to Sarah Silverman.

Tim & Eric are hit and miss for me, and when they miss it can be excruciating, but when they hit ("For your health!") it's absolutely hilarious. I like comedy that comes from such a strange place that I have no idea how its written, or where the ideas come from.

I'd rather watch something like this, with flashes of utter insane genius, than bland, middle-of-the-road, will-this-do, cookie-cutter... eh, I've run out of hyphens but you know what I mean.

It's nuts, is what it is. Great job.

They also do a live show. I think there's clips of it on YouTube.

I absolutely worship both Tim and Eric.

I laughed. A lot.
