'Inquisitor' status

You are a droid, travelling through time and asking each sitcom to justify itself.

Which one gets the chop? Which one was so devoid of humour as to never have warranted airtime?

Cows.

Other than Lab Rats... The waste of video tape that was Hyperdrive...

Is that The Mighty Boosh as a whole, or the third series in particular?

Oh but she's so cute in that! :(

Ah ok then. :)

Spaced is ace.

It's more or a less an acid test in if someone's an essentially a good person.

Au contraire it's cultrual sharpness, top notch scripts, and use of an A team remix can only be vlaued by the essentially good.

Apparently Saddam Hussein had it banned from Iraq, as he couldn't manage it's low key surreal edge.

Like a polished version of the Young Ones.

In a fresh original way, it is a joke, and a good one.

Spaced is funny in the same way that spiritual enlightenment is fulfilling.

You are one with it, or you are none with it.

Granted Boosh is over rated, good songs though.

"cultural sharpness" = endlessly referencing comic books and sci fi films instead of coming up with actual jokes. Right.

Oh, come on!

"When you said it went well . . . Do you mean shite?"

- "You're my number one!"
- "Then why are you treating me like a number two?!"

And lovely complex plots that stretched over episodes, with out losing the familiarity typical of the genre.

It was a format so strong it transformed into 2 massively succesful films.

I mean the puzzling thing is what do you consider better than Spaced?

Are you serious ? I would have thought twice about putting that line in one of our village pantos.

I personally think that's an ace use of an style gag.

More:

"Oh, this is like the film where the woman has to help the bloke get one of those American work permits."
"Green card?"
"Yeah, a green card. What was it called?"
"I dunno"

"FHM voted Gillian Anderson as the sexiest woman in the world in their 1997 poll!"
"And what about you?"
"I wasn't place."

Oh that's a shame, I'm going to have to kill Griff, Timbo and Aaron. :(

They made films of George And Mildred and On The Buses too.

What do I consider better than Spaced ?

Peep Show, The Office, Alan Partridge, Father Ted, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The IT Crowd, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Steptoe and Son, Porridge, Nathan Barley... pretty much everything.

Well several of those were heavily influenced by Spaced (Father Ted certainly)

And there were no Spaced films, the format it's self created Hot Fuzz and Shawn of the Dead.

Disliking those two I think is considered high treason.
