Seeing we've hardly bought anyone this window, it's probably not surprising. Maybe he can't afford to lose him 'squad-wise'. I think it's a mistake though. He didn't play that well last season imo (when he wasn't beating people up, or in court), and he could be banned for a good few games at the start of this season by the FA. And we've lost our last three friendlies.
