What are you listening to now? Page 315

It was a bit grunty and graphic! My bedroom is right at street level and the window is right onto the street in a semi-secluded part where you might stop and talk, thinking no one could overhear. I get quite a few people stop and talk on their mobiles and I, of course, strain to hear every word if I'm in that mood! Other times I think, eff off somewhere else and talk!

I love that!

I like interesting covers. I shall investigate....

You HAVE to check out the Cosmosonica Albums... full of excellent cover versions... Ukele Orchestra version of Ms Dynamite and a Bhangra version of I will survive are particular highlights...

oo and Dead Hensons they do cover versions of Muppet and Seaseme Street tunes..

Jay Z (Linkin Park remix) - 99 Problems.

It's a fine track I just didn't expect someone of your... How do I put this nicely...

Someone of your life experience would enjoy it as much as me. :P

An old fart?

Looks like they're still going: http://www.dreadzeppelin.com/music.html

I saw them a few times while I lived in L.A. a few years ago. Southern California has no shortage of gimmicky cover bands. A few I remember:

El Vez - The Mexican Elvis
Nudist Priest: Naked Judas Priest cover band
AC/DShe - Female AC/DC cover band
Cheap Chick - Female AC/DC cover band

Years and years ago, I saw a DJ from Liverpool put on this bizarre album of Beatles covers done in a funk-instrumental style. Anyone know what it was? I've never been able to find it!

And I probably wouldn't except you forget that I am a musician and even when we get old, us musos can still appreciate quality music in any genre!

;)

You mean a white slab of cows stomach, gee how'd that happen! :O

Old fart, indeed.. at least I'm not a fat old git! ;)

I am now listening to 'The Black & White Minstrels' ... 'Camptown Races' ... That George Mitchell certainly knew how to orchestrate a medley!

George Formby now.

You! Me! Dancing! by Los Campesinos!

(SO many exclamation marks!)
