Favourite Fall lyrics

I was wondering whether anyone had a favourite lyric from the Mark E Smith. I personally have a few favourites but as I have an ethical responsbility of person in charge of this particualr thread I feel it would be grossly irressponsible for me to express a veiw on this matter.

Oooh! Just pointing out youve put it in the wrong forum. I apologise for letting you know. I'm on my knees, apologising. Begging for forgiveness. Though evidently in a sarcastic manner. It should be in the general thread, that's all. Sorry.

Nope.

'People jumping up and down...And they talk a lot of wind, they talk a lot of wind'. One of my favourite The Fall lyrics, and appropriate to the BSG, Eh? Yes-ah.

Matthew has a point! Please post threads in the correct forum. I have moved this.

My friends' band wrote a song with the line "F**k you, Mark E. Nothing makes you happy anyway."

And just who the f**k is Mark E Smith anyway?

No, he couldn't. I'm the only one allowed to be a Hitler around here! *shakes fist menacingly*

Cor!

I had to cheat a bit here because I couldn't really remember. I had Slates, from which the following classic came.

Also bought a couple of mid 80s albums.

And I feel like Alan Minter [1]
I just ate eight sheets of blotting paper
And I chucked out the Alka Seltzer
