Has it ?
In fairness I ahven't read it in over 10 years.

Now, we're talking. Marshal Law gets 11/10 for being a hard bastard.
Tom Strong was a weirdly funky comic, kinda like Alan Moore kicking back and having some fun.
\But in a genius kind of way of course.
Any one read his porno comic yet?
£50 i'm not that much of a fan, or a perv.
Y the Last man is ace.
Quote: Griff @ August 1 2008, 10:37 AM BSTOh and agreed, Ultimate Spider-Man was pretty good. Much better than Ultimate X-Men or Ultimate Fantastic Four.
I take it this is not The Ultimates that sooty is refering to.
Who'd have thought we'd all be comic geeks?
\o

No, The Ultimates is the equivalent of The Avengers in Marvel's Ultimate Universe.
It's a good job I'm already married.

And the villain inthe first book, a superhero rapist, yikes!
Being a Marvel fan, I always maintained that the Hulk could beat the wotsits out of anyone, Superman included. One workmate argued that Superman could do anything, fly at super speed, incredible strength etc, and no-one could beat him. So how did Doomsday do it? I still think the Hulk is the strongest, toughest hero around.
I've got to re-read the Marshal Law comics. They are great.

Thanks Graham
Edit; Tea time!
Nope the Ultimates, totally ace.
Yes, Superman worked for the man. I remember what Batman said to him in the Dark Knight Returns: "You always were a sucker for anyone with a badge, or a flag."

Because Superman in one comic lived on the sun and was like a god because he was so cahrged up.
Hulk would beat post crisis Superman though.

Ah, Miller's got a downer on Superman. There have been plenty of examples of Superman telling Uncle Sam to get lost.
Okay, so I just can't remember any of them. Who are you, my wife? Leave me alone.

Isnt that the one where he breaks his hand punching Superman?
Quote: Gavin @ August 1 2008, 10:50 AM BSTHulk would beat post crisis Superman though.
According to the Marvel V DC mini-series, post-Crisis Superman beat the Hulk, but said he was the toughest opponent he'd ever had.
Which wees on Doomsday's chips.
Muhammed Ali beat Superman, I have the very funky comic somewhere in the Sootyj cave.
