Me too. They probably should have left it alone. I prefered the monster ones rather than the later conspiracy stuff.
New at the box office Page 7

Me too, I was hugely into it for the first four or five series, I didn't watch any of the last couple. I mean, at one point Mulder wasn't even in it anymore! That is not The X-Files! Anyway, I would have been quite surprised if this film had done big business.
It's all too late. People have moved on.

I think it's an odd combination of having left it too long since the series ended, and it being too close to when it ended. If you know what I mean. They either should have done it straight away, or left it a lot longer until people we're looking back on it with fondness and nostalgia. Or something.
Bit like Twin Peaks.
Anybody seen the new X-Files movie yet? It's got a real pasting at the US box office, which doesn't bode well.
Just watched Wall:E

its very sweet.
And I aint into all the kissy huggy rubbish.
Oh....My....God. Just watched The Dark Knight and it was f**king awesome.
Loved the cameo appearance of the second villain. Nice touch. What a pity Ledger died, he was great. Now they'll either have to re-cast or never use the Joker again. Silly boy. And the third villain, WOW, great effect. Hopefully we haven't seen the last of him/her.
Again, that was f**king awesome. If you haven't seen it (and like the genre), go see it now.
I've been purposefully vague so as not to spoil it for anyone.

That was a nice little touch.

Surely you advocate downloading it, by way of averting the Hollywood capitalist machine?
Quote: PhQnix @ July 27 2008, 5:43 PM BSTWhy are you here when you haven't seen the film?!
Because it's not a Batman thread. Perhaps?
