A far as I'm concerned, the only thing water's got going for it as a drink is that it's cold.

What about hot water?

What about hot water?

Some people do! They believe it gets rid of toxins. Yeah okay.....

You get some fruit loops. Why would hot water be better at that than cold?

I wonder why cold water always tastes nicer though.

Because it's cold.

Cold isn't a taste.

It freezes your tongue and your brain just patches an emergency medley of your favourite flavours over the pain.

And THAT'S science.

And THAT'S science.

Oh yes, it is.

(This brilliant theory of mine also explains why they can drink Pepsi in America, btw.)

Thank you. I'm currently tasting crispy bacon.

I want to be tasting crispy bacon. I'm so broke I can't afford to eat... so I just ate nothing all day yesterday and had to go and see my dad to get free dinner. Pay day tomorrow though! :)

Coke and Pepsi are loaded with sugar because they are meant to be served at just above freezing point, when your taste buds are numbed. That's why Coke tastes so sickly sweet at room temperature.

True.

Scientific inquiry #2: Why do fruit teas smell delicious, but taste horrible. And all the same.

Why a priest today?

Because you forgot to put sugar in?

(There's a German proverb that says: "Sugar is the substance that makes coffee taste bitter if you forget to put it in". Bugger. It's only funny in German. Who would have thought.)

Why a priest today?

I do requests. Somebody requested a priest outfit.

I can see the humour, but yes, it really doesn't work in English. :)

I don't put sugar in normal tea and it tastes fab, so that can't be the answer.

You know what I'm going to request. Let's see what Ms. Gary would look like.
