British Comedy Guide

Who is the least successful writer who posts here? Page 4

Just random short story journals. Some Canadian ones, American and English.

And a gay porn site. ;)

Like I always said - classy.

Frankie - I've won something weirder than you. I won a prop from Armando Iannucci's 'Time Trumpet'; a mock-up newspaper from the future, for this film I made http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/comedysoup/A14341970

Nice vid! Is that you performing it Dolly? Are you the Electric Landlady? (love it!!) Laughing out loud

Thanks!

Yes, that is me. I have to play every part. Not because I'm a show-off but because I've no friends.

Me. I have achieved nothing whatsoever in the field of writing and am totally ok with it as well. :)

I've got an agent, and had short stories published. But not a book yet.

If I had there'd be a massive link to it on Amazon in my sig, and a plea for you all to buy it. :)

I didn't think that was allowed here?

Where did you have your short stories published ? I had some in Raconteur and The New Writer before I realised I wasn't cut out for proper writing.

Raconteur isn't that Michael Winner's porn mag?

Any way i'm the biggest failure, my time eraser button still won't worl

Ha ha, superb.

I decided to start writing a few months back. How far have I got? I joined this site >_<

I think Sofa Matt might have it so far.

Has anyone joined the site with the intention of writing comedy and never even opened Word, put pen to paper etc? Ideally we're looking for someone who's been a member for a year or more.

There is something curiously counterproductive about the website in that people spend inordinate amounts of time on here when they should be writing. Not me, I have iron self-control.

Do you want to interview them for some post-modern 'Meet The Writers' issue?

Yes, somebody must be able to beat me. I've actually submitted two short skits to critique since I've been here. Christ I'm a workaholic, someone get me a chair, oh and a drink, and a sandwich made by Leevil would be nice.

Yeah. I'm calling it "Meet the Wastrels"
