Who is the most successful writer who posts here? Page 2

We have just the thing for ya - Meet The Writers

At the bottom of each interview is the previous one, so you have lots to read.

Twas a good series, is there going to be any more?

I don't like the idea of succesful writers posting here. It seems wrong. I think once somebody's achieved a measure of success they should bugger off.

The new site was going to have a Gentleman's Lavatory for writers who have 'made it'.

Sootyj is without question a brilliant writer of satire. He is incredibly adept at dialogue and subtlety. His satirical works are a form of social allegory, a confronting and incisive view of contemporary life. He is definitely the best satirist within the British Comedy Guide; probably the best in the UK - and possibly the world. All of us admire Sootyj's skill, especially when he carefully targets his subtle, ironic, witty humour at those in power - whether in government, big-business or television. Any criticism levelled at Sootyj usually comes from Morrace, whose written works PALE into insignificance when faced with the intellectual and comedic genius of Sootyj.

Morrace, if you have a problem with sooty, please deal with it privately as personal attacks on other users aren't generally tolerated...

You jest? Meet The Writers was an awful series. It brought home just how myopic, annoying and self-obsessed most comedy writers are. And I include myself in that summation.

Ooooh! Get YOU dear! :O

One minute, you're writing brilliant comedy ('Evil Jesus in the Eighties'), next minute you're off on a hissy fit!! (take two every six hours - not SIX every two hours, silly!)

Personal attacks?

Show me one - it won't stand up in court (feed-line to Sootyj there!).

I wish someone would say that I was 'definitely the best satirist within the British Comedy Guide; probably the best in the UK - and possibly the world'.

I want to see the manager, this minute! You're neither the organ grinder, NOR the monkey!

"Whatever you do, don't get involved, don't risk it because someone could be armed with a sharp wit and a spellchecker. Pirate Don't get involved, move away."

Davemoreton the guy from the posts was in talk iwht producers about his sitcom and he did have about 90 more posts than most critiques noraly get on this forum, probably a sign of quality, i guess.

A close second!

I forgot Perry Nuim, doh!

Wrote for Hale and Pace (is that not enough!), other skit shows, and is a full time writer for Hallmark (a pretty big deal).

And has numerous sitcoms on the boil.

So a fulltime professional writer, and professional Geordie.

Aaron is the most successful writer on here.

Now that is funny.

Cetainly the most prolific, and most respected.

You better your sweet bippy there will be. Next week I'll be talking with animator and YouTube wunderkind Mike Booth, creator of the Grey Bloke series.

You're only annoyed because no one asked you to do one.
