Hi Walker,
I've read this thread with more than a little interest and I have to be honest and say that there appears to be a little friction frowing back and forth. Basically there's not a gag around that hasn't already been done but I guess if I was on the end of such a harsh comment, I'd not be best pleased with such an agressive tone. To me there is a protocol to follow for everyone who uses the critique which supercedes anything else.
As for the sketch itself, and while it's lucid and reads well, I agree this sort of sketch has been done before in one variation or another but nevertheless, Blenkinsop has a decent reputation within the BSG and as such, if nothing else, he deserves a little courtesy because he's earned it.
And just as an aside, unless somebody has gone out of their way to offend, just treat them in a way that you yourself would like to be treated because it's a nice thing to do.
