Seriously just forget about it. It'll be a nice surprise if you get it, if not, on to the next one. ;)

Yeah. Not bad odds though.

I didn't realise you could make multiple entries.

If you'd asked Charley she'd have put you right.

Did anyone hear anything more about this?

I got an email from them on Wednesday, saying they couldn't open some of my scripts, so I re-sent and heard nothing more.

Apparently they received 'over 1000' and will be shortlisting the (9) finalists this afternoon.

eek.

Where did you read that?

Your posted image isn't showing.

Where did you read that?

They said it in an e-mail they sent me, when I inquired as to whether they had received my shizzle. They had.

Clearly it was rubbish, though, as I've not heard back from them today :(.

Anybody get a positive response from them?

No, and you need to remember they're judging what they can use not what s funniest.

I could write the funniest mother in law gag in the universe, but Spare Rib won't use it.

Well, it looks like

Yup. On to the next one...

What is that image my computer won't show me.

It's the looney tunes 'that's all folks' logo thing.

Also, I was given to believe they weren't going to sue the stuff sent in per se - they were looking for people with potential to go on this course and pitch a (possibly entirely different) idea to the Comm. execs?

I might have a go at the sitcom trials for my next dose of disappointment.

My advice be like Max Moseley

Learn to enjoy taking a beating.

I might drop E4 a line asking for some feedback. I'll probably be told to whistle for it, but it can't hurt.

There'll be another time, our time will come around and we'll have our day.

But look before you leap and a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. :)
