The wife...

...does she think I'm stupid?

Probably. Rolling eyes

I looked at my personal email today to see that there was a Paypal invoice in there for some craft materials. Now, I like design but the this type of craft was for making home made cards so is not really my thing. I knew what had happened...

A few weeks ago my strife asked if she could buy something using my Paypal account and I said fine. There wasn't a lot in there but it wasn't doing anything so it made things more simple for the purchase to be done this way. Today's payment was unauthorised in the sense that she hadn't asked me first.

POLICE!

To be honest it was for just a fiver so I'm not bothered but what made me laugh was her 'excuse'. She said 'I only used the account once' and I reminded her that that was not actually true. She then looked shifty and said...

'I used it once today and once before' :O

Two onces don't make a right, luv! Tch! Angry

At least my wife didn't order an extension without the husband's permission like the case I read in the paper today. He was up for fraud of taking £205,000 from his employer's (HSBC) loan fund accounts to fund her shopping addiction.

Good old wife. She needs to learn some tips to not get caught though.
My ex used to get so drunk he would fall asleep wherever he was. A dancefloor, pavement & often inside other women.
Anyhoo I used to rob his pockets while he was comatose & when he awoke he presumed he had been mugged. He thought he was the unluckiest bastard in the world & the No 1 mug victim.

Obviously he was - in more ways than one!

Tuumble. Change your passwords. If you haven't already. :)

Tuumble. Change your passwords. If you haven't already. :)

And make a paypal account for her (with no credit card backup) and feed it small quantities of paypal money as an 'allowance', from your main account.

You know wife logic, Tuumble..

What's hers is hers and what's yours is hers too!

Ain't it da troof!

Yes, I feel your pain Tuumble.

I can offer some help however, my wife already has hundreds of pounds worth of this card making crap, and I think the novelty has already worn off. Next time your wife needs some supplies instead of using paypal, drop me a pm and I'll fulfill your order from my existing stock!

You're married. What's the problem?

I don't understand couples who have separate money, etc. I find it really weird...

£5???? Are you serious? She needs to be calling divorce lawyer not wasting time on paypal.

This is why I'm single.

It's not about the money. It's about the principle, the necessity of the purchase, and more to the point, that he's not loaded. She's deceived him by using an account in HIS name without HIS permission. (No, £5 won't break the bank itself, but slippery slope etc.)

I call it sharing.

That's what I plan to tell the RIAA when they come looking through my ITunes collection.

Laughing out loud

I call it sharing.

You ARE Tuumble's wife, and I claim my £5.

Seriously though, I think alot of relationships flounder or break up because people can't or aren't used to sharing- be it money, space, time, etc. You could put this down to the popularity of smaller families in modern times...

....or that people are just selfish c**ts.
