I wasn't being sarcastic, if that's what you thought.
Jonathan Ross does it, Graham Norton, Rory Bremner!

I quite liked this. Much better than Harry & Paul. Don't care for all the Kate Moss, Jade Goody stuff, that was shite. But the Demi Moore sketch, the black and white movie sketch and a few others were quite funny.

Not in exactly the same way though.
Don't worry Darren, I know what you mean.
The monologue was painful to watch. She was basically sayin 'please laugh.' I was watching this while playing css so I didn't see it all but i might watch it again. Is it repeated on monday like harry and paul?
Nope, no repeats. Next episode is on Tuesday though.

Hmmm... yeah, I don't remember seeing this kind of thing at the start of a sketch show anywhere... unless someone can enlighten me?

Lol... after seeing ten minutes of the show, her intro (as apology) worked brilliantly!

Well Eric and Ernie did a very similar kind of thing, but again, not exactly the same.

Ahhh... yes, of course. How could I forget?

I'm sure it was a lazy attempt to distinguish herself away from Alistair Macgowan.
She should have called the show, 'Not Alistair Macgowan'.
I didn't like it, it felt unnatural and painful. Although I do agree with you, I like the idea, but it could've been preformed better.
Recently watched the first season of the 'Mr. Show' and they do it in that.
Basically she is an impressionist - so she does what?
Oh impressions. Well fancy that.
They may be easy targets but Colleen, Goody and Amy Winehouse were good impressions.
I didn't watch it. I can imagine her being good at Amy Winehouse though.
Who played Pete Doherty? I saw a second of that in the ad.
It was one of the guy's from Dead Ringers.

It was indeed. That's Phil Cornwell. Also seen in Stella Street, World of Pub, The Comic Strip Presents, I'm Alan Partridge and heard in numerous voice-overs.
