Yes really. It's not Pixar's fault kids and many adults today need consistent gags and action to retain their fleeting attention spans. I thought Wall-E was a smart, beautiful and thought provoking and reminded me of some of the better children's films of yesteryears. It also worked well as a creative sci-fi unlike the drivel called sci-fi today like the new Who and Torchwood.
