A dinner that reminds you of being a nipper

Roasts (Yummy )& on skint days my parents would make soup with potatoes plopped in it.
I used to think "F**k me we are Pikey's", as a I swirled my 3 potatoes around in all this thin watery water tasting soup.(In fact it probably was potato water & potato soup)
The other day I made myself soup & potatoes & thought "F**k me I am still a pikey".

My nan used to make macaroni cheese. It had no Cheese in it.I used to ask where the cheese was & she would just say "The mice ate it". It never occured to me what a filthy bitch that made her. Having mice in her kitchen.
Sick

Spaghetti shapes on toast!!!!

Preferably Inspector Gadget.

Yogurt with a crumbled cookie mixed in and campbells meatballs!

OOOOOH AND TURKEY DRUMMERS!

Mashed up banana and some weak juice in a beaker.

Ultimate is the happy meal though.......mmmm.

I still eat spaghetti shapes on toast.
But usually Scooby Doo.

Egg and soldiers, even though I had it the other day.

I wasn't allowed Happy Meals when I was little. :(

I have more than made up for it now.

Like proper pasta?

Cooool.

Beans on toast watching Jamie & The Magic Torch at home during lunch at primary school. They (school) did a mean chocolate crunch with pink custard though. It was almost worth sitting through the main meal part. :)

Don't think I've had chocolate crunch or pink custard since. :(

Laughing out loud

Favourite childhood meal? Your mum.

Got to go with the Happy meals.. also turkey twizzlers, like a really greasy salty yet very tasty turkey sausage, with chips and beans
Good times!
:D

A sunday dinner at my older brothers house when I was 7 - a horrible steak that was very chewy. I spent about 5 minutes chewing it and I was too shy to try to remove it and put it in a napkin. I'm not even sure what I did do with it but the memory of sitting there eating this endless chewy steak has never left me.
