Oh they're good ones, Floozy.

"I feel it in the air,
As I'm doing my hair"

Rihanna - Unfaithful

Rihanna? Sounds like an STD. Oh I'm glad I'm a young hip person who gets to listen to this "music".

I've completely given up (not that I ever really tried) attempting to keep up with da yoof. Bloody commoners...

Scum. The lot of 'em.

(Well, quite a lot anyway.)

hehe thats very nicely said Aaron! the other good one I heard was

"kiss my ass and call me funny..."
by my friend's band :D

The following seems to apply more to my life (and melancholia) than any other:

'I could've been a contender
Could've been a someone
Caught up in the rat race
And feeling like a no-one.'

Heavyweight Champion of the World, Reverend & The Makers

:(

Dan

I thought I saw some shooting stars
I wished on them
But they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you cared

Billy Bragg (New England). The fantastic Kirsty MaColl did a version as well I think

I was 21 years when I wrote this song
I'm 22 now but I won't be for long......

Bloody hell - that was a long time ago.

hehe I heard one about "Well now we're almost 23, and youre still mad at me"
and in my head allll day "My pi-a-no's out of tune, I wish it wasnt, I wish that you were mine" why does that relate to the piano :S

Heres a few of my favourite lyrical lyrics:

"See her in the green dress? She talked to me at the bar
How come its already two pound fifty? We've only gone about a yard
Dint ya see she were gorgeous, she was beyond belief
But this lad at the side drinking a Smirnoff ice came and paid for her tropical Reef"
-- Red Light Indicates Doors are Secured, Arctic Monkeys

"The night has fallen, I'm lyin' awake
I can feel myself fading away
So receive me brother with your faithless kiss
or will we leave each other alone like this"
-- Streets of Philadelphia, Bruce Springsteen

"How do you know that you're right?
If you're not nervous anymore"
--confessions of a king, The Killers

oh and the whole of that song by Mr Blobby, genius

Yeah it was. But Billy's done some grand songs, I reckon (though he stole that couplet). How about this one, the opening to "Mary"?

Between Marx and Marzipan
In the dictionary
There was Mary
Between the deep blue sea
And the devil
That was me

How on earth can you ice dance full stop. I've been ice skating once but all we did was whizz around the middle (where the cool kids skated) and try to knock each over over. Brilliant.

Just heard "Motorhead" by Motorhead on the radio. Reminded of that line something like

"Five day marathon,
I'm moving like a parallelogram"

Um - yes??!!!???

I can't remember to be honest ajp but i do know they did a slow dance at the end where we pretty much help each other up...oh and sometimes kissed if we were lucky.

Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive and the world it's turning inside out Yeah!
I'm floating around in ecstasy
So don't stop me now don't stop me
'Cause I'm having a good time having a good time

That's my song of the day cause i'm sulking cause i don't want to stop travelling and i have to come home in August! :(
