Lee Evans is good at what he does, his materails not THAT bad but he does tend to recycle a lot of old gags which is a shame.

I've watched a hell of a lot of Lee Evans and I find he tends to do it a lot more than most, maybe it's cause I used to watch a lot of LE when I was younger.

Don't watch as much of him, then. Watch any comedian too much and they repeat a lot.

I haven't seen enough of Frankie to say he's better. My judgement would mean nothing...again.

I used to like Lee Evans in my youth, but Frankie Boyle (not that I've seen that much of him)is the funniest and quick witted person I've seen on TV for a long time

Whose this Great Shakes guy? Sounds interesting.
Never ever found him funny. Never seen him live though which as others have said is probably a lot different. But then Victoria Wood and several other stand ups don't do it for me either. I'm not sure what that says, other than nothing. Well that's 2 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Lee Evans is the funniest comedian alive today imho. I went to see him live and laughed so much that the next day felt lke I'd been punched in the kidneys. It was that embarrassing, helpless laughter that makes you snot and cry and gives you a headache. Superb.
