Under-rated sitcoms Page 4

I have to day it occurred to me the other day what a great potential the Bounder had.

There was one episode where he was pretending to be mad. I emulated this in the recess in school and got sent to a psychologist.

Not a comedy but I remember Colditz where one of the prisoners pretended to be mad to get sent home. He persuaded them so well that they did but by that time he really had gone mad.

Remember Happy families? It was great! I wrote a review for the site but I can't seem to get it received. I'll keep trying...

A more in-depth one than at present, you mean?

Although Brush Strokes had the odd bit of poor script writing, I still found many episodes enjoyable as there were 10 or so good characters. Worth a spot in the top 100 IMHO.

Rab C is defo underrated

15 Storeys High definitely. One of the best British sitcoms of recent years.

American comedies, Arrested Development in this country is vastly underrated and it been the best sitcom of the noughties is just not acceptable.

In both of these shows cases it can be blamed on the BBC's lack of advertising, rubbish late night time-slots and moving around in the schedules.

... and I can't believe 'Happy families' never came out.

Dear John.

It was a bit gay, after all.

Dear John.

Brilliant show. Criminally forgotten and neglected, IMO.

Were there any sexual problems?
