I don't really buy DVDs, I buy books and magazines.

They do that well.

Books are also often overpriced in there, and as for magazines, it's a good range, but head to Oxford News up the other end of the street and there's a much wider range. And yes it's a tiny newsagent. I would have agreed with you until yesterday, when they didn't have either of the magazines I always check for.

I was saying that's why they buy some DVDs as oposed to down loading and bruning them.

Perhaps part of a factor for some, but I still disagree in general. I doubt most people give a poo how it looks to anyone else, they just want to be able to hold something real.

And, to be honest, it's only a small percentage who actually know that it's possible to download shows for keeping like that.

Oddly enough they usually beat Forbidden Planet, on speed of availability of scifi stuff and price.

But I buy from FP as they clearlty give work to maladjusted geeks, and goths.

Forbidden Planet's so terribly overpriced though.

Does every one in BSG pass each other in FP with out recognsing each other?

Tch! I thought this was gonna be a thread about that old craig charles sitcom about pirates.

Are you the one who's always gnawing on lead cast Species figurines?

No I'm the one who rubs up againt the life size Vampirella, till they squirt cold water at me?

Ah you the guy who reads the Barbie vs The Carebears and cries noisily?

I would actually read that comic. Barbie would kick carebear ass.
