The trick is to drink it sweetened with a fair amount of milk. That's how I prefer my coffee anyway. In fact your musings have inspired me to make some coffee right now, don't you feel special?

Aw, I can't stand the smell either. In itself it's not awful, but it feels so heavy and overpowering, almost choking at times.

I've tried coffee with tons of sugar and milk and it's still horrible.
