It's got curved edges. So you can't poke yourself in the eye with it.

Quote: Aaron @ July 20 2008, 8:54 PM BSTUpbeat, catchy pop as opposed to dull, whiney, self-righteous vegan wankery? I'll go for the Danes thanks.
I shall pray for thy soul. If, that is, you had one as opposed to a C.P.U.
Can't beat Pumpkins releasing Machina 2 on the internet once they'd decided to part ways with themselves and the record company. They just gave it away. And I think they got publicity as being the first album to be released solely on the 'net.
Corgan is da man. He used to have a great site with loads of demos and unreleased MP3s.
Tonight I will mostly be listening to: Adore.
Bear in mind that the Pumpkins hardly needed the platform or the money by then but I'd rather my music be heard and I remain poor, than not heard.
I always liked 'Tonight, Tonight' by the Pumpkins. And 1979.
Quote: Matthew Stott @ July 20 2008, 8:50 PM BSTWhy would anyone buy it if they could already get it for the price of a paper? Odd. Unless theres some free stickers or something.
Paper - one day.
Album - theoretically forever.
Paper - cardboard sleeve.
Album - proper thing with inserts and whatnot.

I'm talking about a mega succesful band giving their album away with a paper, and a shit paper at that. But need the money or not, giving it away with a paper is tacky to me, that's all. Stick up for your good buddies all you like, but I think we're really not talking about the same thing here.

I discovered all my old pumpkin posters from melody maker at the back of the cupboard this morning!

You can buy empty plastic cases.

It does send a message of "we only care about the money" for me.

There's one clear difference between Wilco and McFly. Wilco aren't totally awful and have produced at least one fantastic album.

Oh, that's old news, I've seen that on a few albums. You have failed to justify yourself and now you're locked in until the end of the game, Crystal Maze
style-ee.

Perfect, Said Sadly, and The Boy are kick ass too. As is: Stand Inside Your Love - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fAV6rWUyqCc Gothika extraordinaire video - I love the outfits.
Are you Richard O' Brian? Or Eddie 'Tenpole' Tudor?
I vote Thru The Eyes of Ruby!

Corgan does seem like a bit of a hunourless, miserable dictator to me thiugh. Cheer up- you're in a f**king rock and roll band! Snort something and dive into the groupie mountain!
