Mobile Phone Masts Page 2

We saw some mobile phone masts when we visited some friends a bit further out into the countryside. They looked so much like massive trees, and it was amazing that people don't complain about them when they've just been so easily blended in. They should do the same with wind farms.

How many trees have you seen that look like giant windmills?

I like the look of wind farms anyway...

What I meant is that they could just similarly disguise the wind farms when people complain! Though I like how wind farms look, too.

But, last time I checked, tree branches don't tend to rotate.

Then all the trees in the land shall be fitted with rotating branches.

That will surprise a lot of birds and squirels!

Laughing out loud Just the actual stands! I wish I'd never mentioned it...

Environmentalists are already squawking about wind farms, claiming they'll kill millions of birds.

Texas already leads the nation in wind-generated power and there are some huge projects in the works. Every day on the drive home from my office I see one or two MASSIVE wind turbines (disassembled, of course) being driven to their destination. The diameter of the blades is 341 feet!

They actually ARE trees. They have them in the countryside.

We'll find out how dangerous they are in 1,000 years time when we have one massive thumb, no legs and a giant ear.

There is some sort of anti mobile phone mast headquarters near my flat. It consists of three corner houses around a crossing, all of which have giant colour coordinated banners. The house opposite the church has a banner that says "Dangerous mobile phone masts - What's the position of the church?". Freaks.
