I'm interested in a nintendo wii but only cause I find the wii fit interesting.

Flatmate has a playstation 3. He spends ages in his room playing. That's his excuse anyway.

Cause I'm into old toys I have some old puter stuff and games. I have a spectrum ZX complete with gun, a game boy, and a snes! I am looking out for a game gear at the boot sales.

Wiis rock. PS3 are rubbish.

LOL Game gear! what are you like?

Now that I agree with. Everything is widescreen so bits are always getting cut off at the sides!

Most of the stuff I watch was made before 1990, so neither HD nor widescreen will actually do much difference for me!

About 4/5 years I think. I still can't pull off a solo to save my life though Laughing out loud Do you play?

I can play in my head. My fingers are less responsive though. I know where my fingers are meant to go but they decide to fret whichever strings they feel like. I've only been properly playing for a couple of months though, so I'm hoping I will improve.

Lets not get away from how much you NEED that top :D

You just want her to buy it because you reckon it'll be tight and show off her tits.

I'm starting to think my posts have become invisible...

Aside from Sally Phillips I currently have no objects of desire, it is my birthday in 2 days and after hours in Bluewater trying to find stuff my family can get me I came up with 1 T-Shirt and a Blammo Watch.

And I used to be such a shopping Junkie...

The snes was amazing. Although I remember fighting my mum over it loads of times because she was always playing Theme Hospital, grr. I used to have an Amiga from years back that was great - played Sensible Soccer and Premier Picks with my dad a lot I seem to remember.

Have you seen the Snes games application thing on Facebook? You can play Super Mario and stuff on it, it's so good for procrastinating.

I'm catching up on many years I missed. On account of the whole not being alive thing.

Plus it's better than most modern stuff.

Of course, you can't forget that "regular" British TV is of a higher picture quality than "regular" US TV, hence HDTV having not caught off as much here; the difference is less noticeable.

PAL definitely has an edge over NTSC, but 1920x1080 is still a big improvement. Blu-ray discs and games look quite spectacular on a nice screen. The biggest problem is that most people sit so far away from their big screens that their eyes aren't capable of discerning the extra pixels.
