My folks have a HD tv. Couldn't really see what the fuss was about. mind you, tv tends to be background noise for me while I make stuff or write.

A nice television with a good HD program and you can't help but notice how great it looks. "Regular" programming over a large LCD TV looks like crap.
I want too many things.
At the moment, top of the list is a new guitar. I have a shit Gibson SG copy at the moment, and while it's alright for practising on I want something proper decent. Maybe a nicer acoustic too, mine's getting a bit old.
I also want the entire box set of The Sopranos. Was only £89 in the Zavvi sale recently, so so tempted.
Really need some new clothes. I want to get a Fred Perry polo shirt. They're expensive but well buff.
I also want to buy a pre-amp. A guy I'm working with has a pirate copy of some £3000 recording software program that lets you record and mix and master music on your laptop, and he said he'll burn a copy and install it for me sometime soon.
I also want a PlayStation 3 and a Nintendo Wii. I don't ask for much, do I?

I'm not so much bothered with the HD. I just want a f**king massive screen.
Now that I agree with. Everything is widescreen so bits are always getting cut off at the sides!

Of course, you can't forget that "regular" British TV is of a higher picture quality than "regular" US TV, hence HDTV having not caught off as much here; the difference is less noticeable.

I'm interested in a nintendo wii but only cause I find the wii fit interesting.
Flatmate has a playstation 3. He spends ages in his room playing. That's his excuse anyway.
Cause I'm into old toys I have some old puter stuff and games. I have a spectrum ZX complete with gun, a game boy, and a snes! I am looking out for a game gear at the boot sales.
