BCG Sketch Show Page 6

Yes, we had a breakdown in communication with our other producer but we're back in contact again now so things should be moving forward again.

Another update... one of our key people was unavailable for a while so that's why things have been quiet. We are moving forward again with selecting sketches and filming schedules.

Whatever happens, I intend to produce a blueprint of what worked and what didn't so people can benefit from the experience.

BTW now is a good time to put you hand up if you have experience acting and directing (with your own camera). We have some people on board already but we may need some more. Note: for now we're looking for people who can send us a clip - nothing fancy just an example.

Another update!

We've short listed the scripts we want to use. They are now going to be passed on to the filming/acting team to see what they can and can't film. Once that has been decided we can get a date for filming and move on to the next phase. I'll let people know when I know their sketch is being film. Thanks for your patience!

Hi CN,

Obviously you have your short list and advised those concerned.

Any chance of letting us who didn't make it know who did?

Purely out of curiosity you understand. Angry

I haven't informed anyone as the shortlist has to go through the filming people to see what they can and can't do. Once we know what's going to be filmed we'll announce it.

Please forgive our presumption.

OK, so we have got people interested in filming, acting and editing this project. We are going to start with a dummy run of three sketches just to get everyone together. Hopefully that will go well and the crew will be happy to do more of the sketches.

At the end of the day everyone is doing this for free so we have to respect that time and availability (people and locations) are a big factor. But its going in the right direction and if all goes well there will be a team ready to film your best sketches in the future. :)

Cool. Well done for organising 'Nuts.

Pleasure, its a big learning curve and I can see why these things don't happen but I'm sticking with it.

A lot of work and effort seems to be going into this and even if my sketches aren't selected, I hope this goes well for all those involved.

OK, so the problem is getting the sketches filmed at the moment. We have producers, director and possibly actors but we need someone to film it and possibly edit it. If anyone can do so let me know.

We did have this all set-up but unfortunately it feel through (not our fault). The feedback on the sketches have been very positive though.

How many sketches where due to be filmed C'Nuts?

I think it was three or four for the first day, then we would assess the result and open it up for more. Its all about getting all the people together. Hopefully it will happen soon.

Well whatever happens, good luck with the project mate!
