Cube's a great film.

Bingo Bango! You seen them all or just no.1?

I've just seen number 1. Heard bad things about the others so steered clear. I quite liked the directors follow up film, though. Cypher, with Lucy Liu. Not great, but fun and diverting.

Without doubt "The Story Of Ricky-Oh" is a great boys night in, switch-you-brain-off-and-get-pished movie. Possibly one of the funniest yet goriest movies ever made.

That is very funny, especially when the guard says effimantely

"Stop fighting"

Cypher was a good film yeh not great but definately worth a watch.

Cube should of stopped at number 1, it was all explained by the end and it was rubbish

Mementos great. As is The Prestige, which has quite a creepy ending when you realise (***********SPOLIER ALERT********) that Hugh Jackman has been drowning all those clones of himself.

Equilibrium, was a bit shit but had some cool Gun-Foo in it the opening sequence in the pitch black was brilliant

Cypher, Cube? Intellectual scifi films are not bad ass! (albeit very good films both)

next it'll be The Sound of Muisc (only the NR version is ok, that's bad ass).

any one notice this is a girl free thread?

And Pitch Black was brilliant. Godawful sequel, though.

Agreed.

I wasn't massive on PItch black but compared to the sequel it was a masterpiece of moving arts.

Because chicks like films about chocloates and puppies and the menstral cycle.

What is about women getting grumpy about men blacked up, riding around bicycles.

Chip we have argued about sitcoms but we seem to have spookily similar taste in films. The Prestige is my absolute favourite film of recent years, I just bought a copy in the Zavvi sale. Not only is the script mind-bogglingly brilliant (I really should read the novel) but so beautifully filmed, ie when they find the wood full of discarded top hats outside Tesla's house. And of course David Bowie's Tesla is hilarious.

Bad ass doesn't begin to describe the NR version.

Beautifully sung, very funny, but what a shocker!

Agreed. And it's more proof that Christian Bale is one of the finest actors of his or any generation.

The minstrels have a new film?

He went to my school, I think he's younger than me.

God I wished I'd bullied him.

That batman/American Psycho I stole his lunch money, and made him cry.

I could sell signed photos, as the guy who bullied batman.
