It's a pundit's sports quiz (also available as a podcat). Will be back at the beginning of the football season but if you go to the Facebook group (Fighting Talk Appreciation Society), there are instructions on how to download practically every episode from the last five years. Just finished the day before the Euro final.

I can't really get in to BBC Radio comedy. Seems too MOR for me.

And why do radio performers have to put on such ridiculous voices? They either sound insane or like smarmy know-alls.

Nah, I don't even drive let alone have any particular interest in cars, and it's still one of the funniest programmes on television.

There's a certain amount of truth to this, but Radio 4 does cater to quite a wide demographic, ranging from students to the nearly dead. And when it works - That Mitchell and Webb Sound, Ed Reardon's Weak, The Museum of Everything, Clare in the Community, I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, The Now Show, etc - you get stuff that is just as good as anything on TV.

A TV pilot was filmed at some point, so it might well get to go onto TV. I certainly hope so too... Hut 33 is the other comedy I'd like to see transfer over (if for no other reason than to see Olivia Colman try and represent her character in a visual medium).

The forthcoming Miranda Hart's Joke Shop is looking like it'll be the next radio hit (and will transfer to TV I'm sure!)
