Once, there was a regular poster called "Charley". She was filthy, dirty, and had a massive flange which could be smelt in Melton Mowbray from Southampton - and beyond. Now she's a wedding planner.

I'd be really interested to know what everyone's motives were for joining the site, like how they found it.
I'll go first: I was searching After You've Gone and the BSG description came up. Wasn't that fascinating?

I have no idea how I found it.
I remember when I first looked at the list of writers in the profiles section, I thought they were all proper professionals and I wouldn't be allowed to join. 
Probably a writers' site, zooo?
After I was dumped, I started writing again, found this place and had loads of info on competitions so I bookmarked I came then here looking for like minded people....2 years on still looking...Not tried the utility closet yet.
