Smurfs were my favorite.
I was obsessed with GI JOE cartoons and action figures.
Advetures of Gummi Bears were great!
Muppet Babies.
Garfield and Friends.
Beetlejoice
Inspector Gadget was sooooo good. I still watch them when they come on.
The Read Ghostbusters, that was great.
M.A.S.K. was cool and so were their toys with the magnets on the feet.
I still say Teddy Ruxpin was an incredibly original kids show.
X-Men!!!
Degrassi Junior High (gotta give props to a great Canadian teen-drama)
Astroboy (I just re-watched the entire series remastered it was awesome!!!!)
Robotech didn't age so well but it really set the bar for sci-fi cartoons. It also scared me for life when half the cast of the first season get's killed off in the war.
Dino-Riders was good. I had them all on tape when I was a kid.
Ewoks (we are the e-e-e-e-eeeeeeewoks)

But one children's show I really really really have to recommend is Jim Henson's The Storyteller. Tooootally underrated family show of different folk tales told with Jim Henson puppets. I have the series at home and watch it often still. My favorite is the story of the man who beat the devil and death. Sooooooooo good.
HERE! Just fond it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=oF5KBsbSoMg

Loving your choices. The Storyteller (and the Greek Myths series) remains a classic. Hurt is amazing. Garfield & Friends and The Real Ghostbusters are brilliant. I think the same guy who did the voice for Garfield also did one of The Ghostbusters (Murrays character I think). Degrassi High was cool too.

How about The Red Hand Gang? :D

Guy who did the voice for Venkman in Real ghostbusters was considered for part in the film. And Bill Murray played the part of Garfeild in the film....Strange world right?

Sorry, I meant that the guy who did the voice for Garfield (in Garfield & Friends) also did the voice of one of The Real Ghostbusters (Murrays character in the Ghostbusters film I think).

But your correct anyhow. Very strange world. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if they used a Yank for the American version. They did on Fraggle Rock. The English version had Fulton Mackay whereas the American version had some bloke I'd never seen before.

Think we had the American version of Jim Henson's The Storyteller anyway.

I liked The Storyteller. I liked the story about the man-hedgehog creature.

Do you remember Rik Mayall's series where he used to sit in a bizarre chair-with-hands and tell stories?

My bedroom is like a shrine to 80/90s TV.

From my chair I can see the following:

Two boxed MASK toys.
A boxed Ghostbusters figure.
A boxed mini A-Team van
2 Waccaday Mallets - Pinky Punky and the girl one - Plinky Plonkey(?)
A Thundercats money box
A Dangermouse sliding piece game
A Bart Simpson figurine.
The Stay-Puft marshmallow man
'Battle Cat' from He-Man.

And somehow I have a girlfriend. Amazing.

It's not the merchandise that makes me shocked that you have a girlfriend, it's the facial hair.

I can't shave it, I look like a 12 year old boy. With a terminal illness. But, you see, I read a poll in the paper saying 92% of women didn't like facial hair.

So if it goes, I look 12 but if it stays, I don't get any women.

Basically, either way I'm going to be someone who spends most of their time masturbating.

Is that why you don't see many women with beards?

Only 8% of them.

Only 8% of them.

80% of them have more then 4 cats.

She's not just the 6foot inflatable Cheetarah?

In my bedroom I can see Wee Jimmy Kranky in his little cage, I should really change his straw.
