I was obsessed with GI JOE cartoons and action figures.
Advetures of Gummi Bears were great!
Muppet Babies.
Garfield and Friends.
Beetlejoice
Inspector Gadget was sooooo good. I still watch them when they come on.
The Read Ghostbusters, that was great.
M.A.S.K. was cool and so were their toys with the magnets on the feet.
I still say Teddy Ruxpin was an incredibly original kids show.
X-Men!!!
Degrassi Junior High (gotta give props to a great Canadian teen-drama)
Astroboy (I just re-watched the entire series remastered it was awesome!!!!)
Robotech didn't age so well but it really set the bar for sci-fi cartoons. It also scared me for life when half the cast of the first season get's killed off in the war.
Dino-Riders was good. I had them all on tape when I was a kid.
Ewoks (we are the e-e-e-e-eeeeeeewoks)But one children's show I really really really have to recommend is Jim Henson's The Storyteller. Tooootally underrated family show of different folk tales told with Jim Henson puppets. I have the series at home and watch it often still. My favorite is the story of the man who beat the devil and death. Sooooooooo good.
HERE! Just fond it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=oF5KBsbSoMg
Loving your choices. The Storyteller (and the Greek Myths series) remains a classic. Hurt is amazing. Garfield & Friends and The Real Ghostbusters are brilliant. I think the same guy who did the voice for Garfield also did one of The Ghostbusters (Murrays character I think). Degrassi High was cool too.
How about The Red Hand Gang?
