Off to Big Talk I see, which seems to be a nice production company. Well, I say that it's just because it's run by Nira Park.
Got to say whenever I saw a dismal BBC comedy his name was on the credits. He's made lots of shows, but were (m)any of them any good?

Royle Family, Funland, Ideal, I'm With Stupid...I think it's the BBC's loss. He has a reputation for being tenacious and getting stuff made.

Royle Family - Great. Ideal - Okay. I'm With Stupid and Funland - dreary tosh. Plus he was involved with those recent pilots on BBC3, for which he deserves to be soundly thrashed.
pft well he's more successful then all of us combined so he's doing something right. So well done him and good luck with the move.

See, I look at that list and I don't see anything there after the Royle Family, which was a well observed comedy. I just see a load of rubbish.
I detest the Royle Family, but how can anyone not rate Ideal or Funland?

Wasn't that photo up on BBC's Comedy Soup?
It used to make me feel quite queesy. It's just the word 'smug' springs to mind 
. There was no explaination of who it was or why it was on the site.
