Toddlers who dislike spicy food 'racist'

Toddlers who turn their noses up at spicy food from overseas could be branded racists by a Government-sponsored agency.
This could include a child of as young as three who says "yuk" in response to being served unfamiliar foreign food.

:D fantastic. How low can you go? :)

Just read a poignant comment on another board that it's probably still ok to hate white pasty crackers ;)

This is f**king ridiculous. If a kid is offered English food, and says "yuk", I suppose that's okay, is it? What if the kid who says "yuk" is ethnic?

Today's lesson: Ignore anything you read in the Telegraph!

on a serious point - any kid over 3 that says yuk to any meal he has been served is a rude little shit.....i have 4 kids and none of them would dream of being rude about the food they are served.

Good point Fritzel, well made;)

when you're mugged by some little scrote who grew up doing what he liked with no consequences....moan then!

this story is typical of those on racism..in that you could remove the racist angle and it still has merits - a racist attack in the street is still an attack, a racist "yuk" about food is still a rude child - we could dump half our race laws as the "crime" committed is a crime (or rude) whether race is allowed for or not.

LOL.

I wish I could say that I was surprised or shocked when reading that article.

What happens if they like some foreign food, but not others?

Then they're only a little bit racist.

Huh. It's probably worth giving your toddler food from a different country each day just in case they're racist against an obscure country that you don't hear about very often, and it only emerges later when it's too late to do anything about it.

Leaving aside Pete's parenting skills, on the principle of the point he is making, I agree with him. As was once memorably commented on a South Park episode about 'Hate Crime', all crimes are hate crimes.

Drink-driving isn't a hate crime.

Drink-driving isn't a hate crime.

It is callously taking risks with others lives for your own convenience, which is close enough.

Shop-lifting? I suppose if you hate paying for things.

Shop-lifting? I suppose if you hate paying for things.

Or working for a living.

But the point is it all comes down to disrespect.
