Once again, I find myself for about a fortnight know unable to sleep for longer than 40 minutes at a time.
Anyone one got and good ideas to help me sleep because this ISN'T funny anymore (much like any other of my posts)

Invite Frankie to rejoin the JM's "Active Team"... that will cause plenty zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's !!!
I had to get up, 20 minutes ago, to have a shower, because I was so sweaty in bed. F**k it, I might as well stay up now.
Lettuce sandwiches, exercise (use your imagination) or a combination of both. Though perhaps not at the same time.
Danny: Go to your doctor.
catskillz: Get a fan.
Sorry to hear that you are struggling to sleep, I can offer no real help other than to say it's not the best idea in the world to ask for help sleeping on a forum at 2.16am. What do you think we were all doing at the time?
I'm guessing you've tried a bottle of wine? Pretty effective. And if hitting yourself over the head doesn't knock you out, you could try drinking it.

The first thing you've got to do is stop worrying about it. In the medium term you get as much sleep as you need. Don't know your personal circumstances, but do you get a chance to sleep during the day?
Second, you've got to switch off. Take a night off from everything, including this (sorry, Aaron). Don't write, don't play, don't do anything. Watch a bit of telly, don't drink any caffeine after 8pm. Go to bed about 9pm and take a good book, listen to a bit of Radio 4. You'll drift off, no trouble.
And no wanking, either.
I'm sure that Aaron could produce a book of all of his posts; although I doubt that is what Graham meant by a 'good book', it would certainly do the trick
Or you could sit and read through the Critique forum...

He'd probably be shocked by my provocative nature and correct-thinking, controversial views.
Shocked into a deep, restful sleep.
When I was at uni I used to have real problems sleeping. I'd stay away until 5am no problem. Everyone from uni was the same though, everyone was always online till late...so we were never alone.
Are you ok now? You are looking a little pale Ellie.
