I did read a quote today from someone in a girl gang that said their lives were like Grand Theft Auto.
I don't think they can heal their wounds after being shot by going and buying a burger from McDonalds though.

BRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrappp.

"ITV is to remake the American sitcom Dharma & Greg for British audiences, according to C21 Media.

This new adaptation is the first part of a new deal between ITV and Fox, which may also include the two networks creating new shows together. Bartlett said the deal "presents tremendous opportunities for a trans-Atlantic cross-fertilization of ideas and talent."

So - another kick in the teeth for new writers then!

Not really. Seems like the kind of thing that they'd give writers a chance on, to me.

If new writers have talent, they'll get their break. A number of BSG members are having success now. Others aren't. Producers, executives, established writers, commissioners - they all visit the site. If people haven't been contacted, then they've got no one but themselves to blame for not being funny.

Yeah, times two Angry

What can I say; I'm a purveyor of the unpalatable truth.

Should I give up now then?

That's up to you. But at least you need to up the gags!

(do you even put stuff up in critique?)

And maybe actually write something :)
And then think about sending something off.

I reckon that would increase my chances a bit.
