I wonder if, when it returns for full series again, if anyone from tonights will actually appear again; Captain Jack, or any of the others? I think maybe Jack could but I wouldn't be surprised if thats it for them all; new boss, new team.

Oh, and I wonder where they'll go for the next companion? Newbie, like Martha, or a known face? Probably won't get a regular one in the specials, have to wait until 2010! Maybe they'll go with someone whos known again, to give it a big push on its return?

Ill be surprised if it's ever just the Doc and one male companion; it would certainly be different, but I think that they think they need the Doctor-female companion dynamic, for the general 'floating' viewers to latch on to. Maybe the Doctor, a female comapnion AND a male companion?

Well if anyone can pull it of, it's The Moff; i'm all for it, but i do think the producers will think 'ooh, mmm, dunno; I think we need a girl in there'. For that reason Ill be surprised if it's ever just Doctor-male companion for any serious length of time.
I just want the Master back for the Doctor to travel with, and to have no companions.
