Doctor Who... Page 125
Here's a theory. E=MC Squared. Where E is elephant, M is mammal and C is Carboniferous limestone.
I love Catherine Tate, and she's deffo the best assistant ever.
From Graham's fingers come much wise words.
Surely it still counts as a spoiler even if you don't know it is one until after the last episode?
Quote: Matthew Stott @ July 1 2008, 6:18 PM BSTI had been thinking something similar myself; it's been built up that Donna is going to be the one to save everyone; plus one of those red eyed women at the space police thing said 'you have something on your back', rather than 'had something', I think, so it could well be that she gets to change everything and no one on Earth knows anything happened. Or something.
I think it is about the right time for him to go, though I dont think he is just yet, but I'm pretty certain we won't see another full series from him.
Think you may have something here Stott as BBC3 are currently showing a double bill of Dr Who starting with 'Turn Left' (the one where Donna doesn't meet the Doctor. Why would they show both (when they only normally have one) unless there is a connection?
Tate bugs me (in general). The shows not called Donna Tate is it? The sooner she's goes the better. And that goes for her warty chin too.
Quote: Nil Putters @ July 4 2008, 8:25 PM BSTWhy would they show both (when they only normally have one) unless there is a connection?
Because the next day isn't normally about to see the final of a three-parter, which is also the final of the series.

Ah, I've loved Tate in it myself, such a different companion to those we've had so far; and, to my eyes at least, a great performance. Or, at the very least, no worse than Freemas or Billies. Certainly not worse than kylies anyway, who was just sort of 'there'. I really didn't want Tate to be in it, but I decided to put my preconceptions to one side and give her a go, and I'm glad I did, because I really think she's been excellent. But yes, it was a brave/silly decision, which ever way you want to look at it, to cast her, because there would be a lot of people who didn't like it and who were never going to change their minds; but it certainly hasn't hurt the ratings any.
I don't get why people think Billy Piper is so great.
She isn't.
Liz Sladen, if I take my glasses off I can pretend she's still perky and lovely, and fuzzy.

Yeah, that was kind of my point.

I can't stand her comedy show, I just don't get what's funny about it. Maybe that has something to do with it. Just seems to me as she's being setup for gags constantly. If anyone's gonna do the funnies, I want it to be Who.
Quote: sootyj @ July 4 2008, 8:55 PM BSTI don't get why people think Billy Piper is so great.
Well, she 'aint bad! Good to look at and a good actress, and a big factor in the succes of Who when it came back, I think.

She isn't.
She is.
(Billie*)

Was your point not backing up Stotty's that there was a specific link with the beetley thing that they were trying to reinforce?
She ain't she's about the worst actress, and the most vain, and I'm including Bonny Langford.
And she's no great shakes to look at.
I just hate the way she's played up as such a great actress.
She isn't deal with it.
Freeman Agayam was mediocre.
But Billy was poor, and therefore worse.

Yes, but it IS (as you stated) part of a final 3 parter. I think we agree, but there's confusion. Anyway Big Bro's on, later
Lets have a betting pool for who can spot Russel T Davis's ridiculous reset button first.

Billie was infinitely superior to Freema. Infinitely.
